Formation Pathways

Very simply, we invite you to gather around three tables. Click through the slideshow below to find out more.

Pathways

On occasion (~3/year) we offer larger group formation pathways, including a yearly catechism class. These are interest driven and usually last 6-8 weeks.

Life Group

Life Groups are usually the best place to take the first steps into deeper community and formation. Geographically organized groups of 10-20 people who gather 2-4 times/month from Sept-May. Essentials: Food, Scripture, Prayer, Pastoral Support

Table Group

Table Groups are for those seeking more intimate and intentional sharing of life in Christ together with a few friends.Affinity-based and intimate gatherings of 6 or fewer people

  • May gather for set time (e.g. 4-week practice from Practicing the Way) or indefinitely

  • Essentials: Food + deep spiritual friendship.

  • May choose to engage Relational Discipleship (RD), a 10-week curriculum written by Advent’s founding pastor Rob Paris, Practicing the Way , or some other formational practice together.
